Did You Know?

Most of the women in jail/prison that we minister to have been
involve with prostitution and/or drugs. U S department of
Justice states that the average  age of entry into prostitution
12 or 14 years old.  There are 100,000 to 300,000 American
children victims a year.

In an average year, a prostituted women is raped 19 times,
kidnapped 10 times, and beaten repeatedly. Yet she is still
considered a criminal.
All prostitution causes harm to women. Whether it is being
sold by one's family to a brothel, or whether it is being
sexually abused in one's family, running away from home and
then being pimped by one's boyfriend, or whether one is in
college and needs to pay the next semester's tuition and
one works at a strip club behind glass where men never
actually touch them.
All these forms of prostitution hurt the women in it.

We want to help these women receive healing, to learn
different lifestyle so
they can become an asset to our community therefore make
our communities a safer place to live.
